Fly fishing is an addiction that I want no cure for !!!I currently teach fly fishing and wildlife photography classes at my log home in the mountains of Greentown Pa . A small pond in my front yard filled with bass and bluegill make a perfect target for a student just starting out in fly-fishing basics. For the more skilled fishermen I can help you sharpen your casting and water reading skills on local waters around my Pocono home. For the more adventurous, I also teach saltwater fly-fishing skills along the New Jersey shore on foot or out of the kayak.
I have taught fly fishing classes at Ramsey Outdoor stores in NJ. I have also taught with the B.O.W. Programs in N.J (Bringing women to the outdoors) In their freshwater and Saltwater programs.I have also taught flycasting classes for CFR retreats in NJ and PA CFR (Casting for Recovery)

I also teach and guide independently on freshwater as well as saltwater for OVER 12 years .. Having a class room out of my truckcamper with 4 wheel drive there isn't too many places that are unreachable for me....just affording the gas seems to be the big issue!.
I am now teaching flyfishing and fly-tying classes in Greentown PA. I offer a basic fly fishing class for 3 1/2 hours for $145.00
With that fee you will learn how to cast, what kind of equipment to use, rods, reels, lines, waders, shoes,and how to tie knots. Also, what flies to use for the type of fish you want to catch.
For a full day of flyfishing ..where I take you out on a local stream or lake and teach you more indepth on how to read water, and learn what flies to use the type of casts that will help you catch fish and not trees and, to give you a better understanding of the environment that you are fishing in $250.00 for the day
For those that just need a class in advanced fly casting I can help you with that to! 45.00 an hour
I also offer a saltwater course at a local NJ beach .I have you meet me at the beach and we will spend the day learning the tidal waters and maybe even catch some fish ! I will go over equipment, casting, flies, tidal charts wind direction for the day $ 250.00 we will learn as we go through out the day the saltwater always hold many surprises!
