Please bear with me my site is a work in progress..........
It was this bigggggg
I have traveled in my truck camper through out the northeastern united states camping, and living on the waters that I fish and photographed for 25 years. Having learned my fly-fishing skills in this way has given me the mobility and knowledge to go just about anywhere and catch fish. It has also given me the skill to get very close to the wildlife that I photograph.
I currently teach fly fishing and wildlife photography classes at my log home in the mountains of Greentown Pa . A small pond in my front yard filled with bass and bluegill make a perfect target for a student just starting out in fly-fishing basics. For the more skilled fishermen I can help you sharpen your casting and water reading skills on local waters around my Pocono home. For the more adventurous, I also teach saltwater fly-fishing skills along the New Jersey shore on foot or out of the kayak.
Happy Trails
Nancy and critters
As I walk along the stream looking for a hatch to come off to entice hungry trout .. I watch a mink quietly slip into the water . An eagle flys over head while kayaking on a local pond. When I am on the beaches and tidal waters some where along the northeast coast waiting for the "right " tide to fly fish for stripers. I watch as Ospreys dive down and come up with the striper I can't catch! I see fiddler crabs on the sod banks hunting for food and otters fishing for crabs. welcome to my world!
It is with the added essence and energy of a reiki master I bring you my art work for sale!
If I had a motto it would be flyfishing is a disease and an addiction that I want no cure for..
I have worked with CFR-"Casting for Recovery" in New Jersey and PA for 5 years as a flyfishing instructor . We have about 14 women come in from all over the state. What do these women have in common? ...for now, they have survived breast cancer..These are Women who have Never fished EVER but, are willing to try something new. ..It is a wonderful 3 day retreat ..we all work hard to make sure everyone has a good time. yes we go over all the flyfishing stuff and we all also make friends for a lifetime, we laugh and share at our evening circle there is indeed much love to be found here. Should you see anybody from our little group , ask them how to do the fish handshake which is sometime performed after catching and release a fish and yes sometimes ...KISSED.... www.castingforrecovery.org
Another project I have come in contact with is "Healing Waters" which is a group of fly fishers meet and await the bus to deliver us 14 American veterans from all wars. we spend the day and teaching our American hero's how to flyfish and the big smiles we get when they had landed there first trout is beyond all description . If you would like to know more please stop by their website
